Read this article if you want to know the truth behind what it takes to run a 7 Figure Coaching Business, not, the fluff, but the whole-hearted truth!

How would you feel if you were 1000’s of lives and having complete freedom in your finances and choice of time and activities in your business and life…?

You can have this, if you have the right formula. Most coaches have a formula that sets them up to fail across every area of the business.

There are some simple aspects that focus on the ‘business’ side of things that will literally ‘make or break’ your entire coaching business and unfortunately for most coaches they are blind spots.

81% of coaches fail because of 2 main things;

They never gain traction financially

They become overwhelmed and overworked

If you follow this blueprint, both can be worked through and you will have the process to unlock your dream coaching business.

Before we get into the different elements of what it takes to run a 7 Figure Coaching Business, I’m going to give you a quick example of what a business might look like logically, so you can see an example of a finished product:

A Fitness/Health coach targets professional men on gaining control of their body and confidence. He offers this 12-week program at a $5,000 price point. To hit 7 Figures, the following scenario is realistic;

Revenue: $20,000/week

Sales: 4/week

Sales Meetings: 8/week

Leads: 30/week

With a solid structure, great strategy and an epic mindset, success is inevitable.

Structure

If you want to be successful as a coach, most of the hard work is done by setting up the correct foundations in the business; namely niche and business model.

First and foremost, 90% of coaches don’t have a profitable niche and it kills their ability to properly market and sell.

Growing up as an avid golfer, I would often be partnered up with successful businessman that had the most obscure companies. Businesses such as steel factories, catering companies or even import businesses. I didn’t understand how they managed to grow these businesses upwards of 300 employees and millions in profits, while amazing coaches struggled to pay the bills.

The answer was simply demand.

People want steel materials, catering services and imported goods, but, people don’t know they need a coach.

A profitable niche, gives a coaching business demand.

Sell them what they want and give them what they need.

One of my favourite marketing quotes of all time, couldn’t be more related to one of the biggest coaching issues that exist. Most coaches try and sell people what they need and this creates the disconnect that kills most coaching businesses.

For example; NLP (Neurolinguistic-Programming). Let’s be honest here, if someone saw an advertisement for an NLP coaching session, who the hell (in their right mind) would perk up and say; “I need that!”? People want:

The BODY of their dreams

The RELATIONSHIP of their dreams

The CAREER of their dreams

The PARTNER of their dreams

The BUSINESS of their dreams

Etc.

Secondly, once you have started to help them with what they actually want, you need to make sure you have a business model that sets you and your clients up for success.The business model that we prescribe to our 600+ coaching clients is to create a premium program that can be summarised simply by; ‘delivering results’.

Most coaches sell time or features and end up in a bidding war with their competitors.

If you want to fly above the competition and play in a league of your own, you need to sell an outcome.

The best way to do this is by offering what I call a ‘keystone product’. A keystone product is a 6, 8 or 12-week course that is sold for anywhere between $1-10,000.

This forces you to think about how to make your course the best course in the world, while delivering outcomes your audience desire.

We have a $20,000 coaching program and most people think that’s ridiculous; “no one wants to pay that much money”.

This is true, no one wants to pay $20,000, but, they do want to make 7 Figures. So, for the outcomes we deliver, people WANT to pay the premium price.

If you are a dating coach, it’s much easier to charge $200 for an hour than it is to charge $5,000 for them to meet the women of their dreams in 8 weeks.

You have a choice. Either step up and get better results for you and your clients or play small and let you and them down.

To give you the rapid-fire inclusions to make your course world class, I’m going to cover what I call the 4 F’s of a World class product.

F

ramework - A set of pillars that, when followed, gives your clients results every time. You can deliver this using a series of tutorials in a membership site to increase leverage and quality.

F

ocus - Macro focus helps your clients get laser clear on the outcomes they desire. Micro focus helps support them and hold them accountable to stay on track to achieving their goals faster. You can achieve these using sessions, webinars, accountability systems and even a support group.

F

amily - Creating an environment of people who can support each other creates leverage because you can help multiple people at once. It also helps the clients hit their goals faster and is more enjoyably because when someone wins, everyone is raised up and when someone is struggling everyone brings them back up.

F

un - Adding the sugar on top, (what I call the one percenters) makes a huge difference between your program simply getting results (which is more than most) and having a world class experience that will wow them and keep them for life.

Without having the right structure in place for your coaching business, it’s like trying to run a marathon with no legs. When your set-up is optimized however, it makes succeeding in this industry infinitely easier.Bad Structure: A life coach with no niche finds it difficult to consistently sell $100 sessions.

Good Structure: A dating coach with a powerful niche finds it easy to sell $5,000 programs.

Strategy

Strategy is what enables you to generate traction and it boils down to mastering 2 main skillsets;

Marketing: the ability to generate highly qualified prospects to help.

Sales: the ability to empower people to commit to getting results in your program.

There has never been a better time in history to market and sell coaching.

The problem comes with people lacking the skills to capitalise on the opportunity, so I’m going to breakdown the keys to succeeding with both of these business essentials.

If we summarise marketing in a nutshell, it’s simply how well a coach puts the right message in front of the right person i.e. Your Targeting & Offer.

At the moment, the single best place to generate leads is using the Facebook Advertising Platform. If you cringed at this idea because of your lack of knowledge of the technical side or because you have tried and failed before, it’s okay. You are not alone. Most people are in the same boat.

The way that online marketing works for coaches, is that you offer your market incredible value in exchange for their contact details.

The reason that Facebook marketing works is not through cracking some mystical code. It is just because it grants you the ability to put your message in front of 1000’s of your niche. It’s then up to you to nail the messaging aspect of the ad.

Let’s step into the common-sense corner for a moment. If your value is so good that you audience can’t resist, then they will put their details in to get access to your resource, but, if it is crap, then they won’t.

Every day you are bombarded with ads in your own Facebook newsfeed that you DON’T EVEN SEE! This is because it either isn’t relevant to you (bad targeting) or it is too weak (bad offering).

Strong Example Offer: Generate 24 coaching leads in the next 24 hours.

Weak Example Offer: Improve your business marketing.

The better the quality of your targeting and offer, the cheaper your leads will be. A phenomenal marketing campaign could see 100 leads for $50 and a terrible marketing campaign could see 1 lead for $500.

After you’ve learned to generate leads on demand using Facebook marketing, it’s time to close prospects into your keystone program.

To dominate at sales, you need 2 things;

Authentic Leadership

A No Brainer Product

The biggest fear coaches have is coming across as a seedy sales person.

The irony is that they have too much love and not enough leadership.

If you possess too much leadership and not enough love, you will come across as pushy and your fear will come true.

Virtually every coach that I speak to is a love machine. They want to hug everybody and send rainbows and butterflies out to the world.

The problem is that without leadership, you don’t earn respect.

If you possess all love and not enough leadership, you will come across as a pushover and you won’t be able to influence your prospect to step up and get results.

If you can lead the prospect to a program they want and need by having the strength to empower them; to put their fear to the side, then not only will you close most sales, you will be more respected as a coach and get your clients better results.

Warning: There is no substitute for a program that lacks quality or relevance. Nail the program and people will sense its awesomeness.

Success

The determination of your success as a coach, is based around whether you look at your coaching business as a cool opportunity, or an obligation to fulfil your legacy.

Usually coaches will overestimate what they can achieve in the short-term in their coaching business and underestimate what is possible in the long-term.

Coaches expect to get a million friction-free sales after a couple of weeks in their coaching business (without taking any action), but, then cap themselves at the potential of making a mere 6 figure income from their craft.

What happens is the moment anything gets tough or they feel challenged, they quit.

They launch a Facebook Ad that doesn’t work. They quit.

They get rejected on a sales call. They quit.

They become tired after a few months of hustle. They quit.

They aren’t making money, because they are doing nothing. They quit.

They get bored. They quit.

It’s pathetic and contradicts the meaning behind what a coach is meant to represent - living and breathing as a role model.

Ryan is a master of marketing, sales and business growth and has started and run multiple successful ventures, including a marketing agency that he grew to a team of 8 people, an app that gathered over 100,000 downloads in the first 4 weeks and many more.

After a painstaking life breakthrough, Ryan realized his birth purpose and Winning International was born with the mission of raising a billion dollars for charity.

Before the age of 22, Ryan had grown Winning to a 7-Figures and changed 100’s of coaches’ lives. With Ryan’s leadership Winning is currently on track to be the biggest organization in the world helping coaches grow their businesses.

The missing attributes here are twofold;

Courage

Consistency

Most coaches never have the courage to tackle the fear tasks needed to get the business off the ground. Videos, investing in ads, sales calls.

Then they work hard for a few weeks and give up on all consistency, looking for the bright light. They avoid doing the necessary activities and therefore struggle for results.

If you are serious about being a successful coach. All you need to do is to nail the structure, strategy and success principles and 7 Figure earnings will be a walk in the park.

If you are missing any of these elements, then you will be dragging yourself through hell.
