Tracy York is a pioneering Australian basketball coach who spent more than 13 years in the WNBL as both head coach and assistant coach, including a tenure as head coach of the MAC Adelaide Lightning and as the first woman appointed as Technical Assistant to the Adelaide 36ers men's basketball team. In 2015, she was inducted into the South Australian Women's Honour Roll as a trailblazer for women in sport and was invited to serve on the SA Women in Sport Task Force. York's career has been defined by a commitment to closing the gender gap in elite coaching and demonstrating the capability of women coaches at the highest levels of the game.
