Alan Gaffney is an Australian rugby union coach with a career spanning more than four decades, including head coaching roles at Munster (where he won back-to-back Celtic League titles), Saracens, and the Australian Under-20s. As backs coach for Ireland and Leinster in 2009, he helped engineer both a Six Nations Grand Slam and a Heineken Cup victory in the same season. He also served as National Elite Programmes Coach for Rugby Australia, mentoring the next generation of coaches within the system.
